While on a tour of Buddu County, his birthplace, Mayiga met various talented groups in Masaka, including painters, musicians, poets, DJs, dancers, instrumentalists, sports personalities, and other creatives.

“Talents are special abilities given to every person by God at birth, and everyone has a responsibility to discover the talent within them,” Mayiga said.

He emphasized that talents should not only be used for entertainment but also as a source of meaningful work, income, and development.

“We always remind talented people that talents are work, not just entertainment. We encourage them to carry out their work with discipline, manage fame wisely, understand the value of their talent, and avoid alcohol and drug abuse,” he added.

Mayiga further called upon artists and creatives to raise their standards so they can earn more from their professions and improve the quality of their work.

“We want talented people to uplift their standards so they can benefit more from their work,” he noted.
